the blower was new from JR. the car runs but not good. I am having some issues with the smc. It has all sorts of idle problems and driveability issues. I am just saving for a hondata from you so it will run properly. I am really tired of this bandaid shit. Also I need to check my belt tension. I am only seeing 7psi but I do not hear any belt slippage. I have also since the installation of the new blower and SMC PLUS have had all sorts of random codes being thrown. random misfire #1, #3, #4, IAC malfunction, System too rich, system to lean. Secondary o2 sensor(and I have an 02 sim), and some others that have slipped my mind.

Jon,
Every GEN III or GEN IV blower I have ever seen has a Teflon coating on the rotor lobes... which is a medium grey in color. Have you asked Jackson Racing about this issue ??? Did you buy the blower NEW from JR or another vendor... say ENDYN ??? Doesn't Larry use a different coating process to encase the rotor lobes ?!?
Just a long shot...

I talked to Tony Tutogi from Magnuson today and asked him about it, he said that the older blowers like Jon has, had polished rotors. Ithink the rotor are normal, it just needs new bearings and seals.
BTW Jim, I gave him your phone # because he was very interested in the stepper pulley. He said that they can't find any pulley to raise the boost, that fits like it should from Jackson. So I would expect a call from him in the future if I was you.

Just remember not to talk to JP @ magnusson he will give you different answers at different times. When I told him I was spinning the blower to 11 psi he told me I would have rotor flutter and the rotors would hit and self destruct. Humm My rotors didn't have a scratch on them??? They look as good as the day I took it out of the plastic bag. strange?
